Group Facilitation

Strategic Planning - Offsite Retreats

This service allows groups to explore and create a Visionary Business Model.

This comprises purpose, vision, core values, desired culture and specific goals and strategies. There is no 'mission statement' writing or 'tree hugging'.

The aim is for the executive team, or work-group, to come away with a clear idea of where they are headed, the strategies they have chosen, specific goals they need to achieve and individual's roles in making it happen.

Action Planning - Accountability For Performance

This service follows on from strategic planning. The aim is to keep the momentum going and accelerate results through regular action planning and review sessions. The core of these sessions is a process that recognises what is working well and tackles the obstacles that are slowing things down.

Highly visible planning documents are organised so that monthly, quarterly and one-year actions are documented and clearly communicated to everyone involved. Measurement keeps the team aligned and makes each individual's accountability and progress transparent.

Team Collaboration - Group Coaching

This service goes way beyond normal team-building events by focusing on how people work together on real business issues. By becoming aware of how the group interpersonal dynamics and processes work, a team can make changes and greatly improve their performance.

Collaborative group processes to work with include problem solving, dialogue, managing conflicts, social styles, innovation and decision-making.

Conflict & Problem Resolution

This service is for situations where unresolved conflicts are negatively impacting performance. The conflict may be between two key individuals, within an executive team or across departments.

An impartial and well thought out mediation process is used to breakthrough conflicts, solve problems and create solutions that work for everyone.

Executive Coaching

This service is for executives who are on the fast track. One-on-one, solutions-focused coaching helps them accelerate their results, while developing new skills. Coaching is not like a packaged training program. I start with a blank canvass and focus on the needs of the individual being coached.

The process works well for people who are results-focused, willing to explore tough decisions and face up to any obstacles they need to tackle - in order to move to the next level. Often these obstacles include things like changing interpersonal behaviours, planning career transitions, work-life balance and accountability issues.

The coaching environment provides a safe space to think things through, explore solutions, develop strategies, make decisions and plan your next steps. Having a thinking partner to work with makes this much easier.

Some of the specific coaching programs I've worked on with executives include:

First 100 Days: Action planning and support for an experienced executive who wanted to create maximum impact when moving into a new job role.

Holding Your Feet to The Fire: External accountability program for a highly creative executive who wanted more focus in order to accelerate results.

Balanced life-card: Strategic life planning and external accountability for a highly driven, and stressed, executive. This was based on exploring their personal values and choices for building a successful career while leading a fulfilling life.

Signature Style: Repositioning an executive's personal 'brand'. This was based on changing their interpersonal behaviours to create a positive impact and relationships with others.

Team restructure: Working through some tough decisions on how to best keep an executive team intact, while making difficult choices about its future leadership.

Key Presentations: Thinking through the structure and content of a critical presentation. This was based on communicating the executive's vision in a clear and compelling way.
