I’m learning to write Haiku.

It’s a traditional form of Japanese poetry known for its simplicity

I’ve tried before and not done well.
But this time I have a better teacher.
AI channelling the spirit of a Haiku poet.

The great Matsuo Bashō.

A haiku is typically a three-line poem with a 5-7-5 syllable pattern:

Line 1: 5 syllables
Line 2: 7 syllables
Line 3: 5 syllables

They usually focus on nature and fleeting moments
I decided to break free and twist the tradition.
Explore a business experience instead.

Here’s my first attempt.
Workshopped with Bashō’s spirit.
It captures a moment at a networking event:

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺
𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲
𝗠𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆

Does that capture networking events for you, or would your Haiku be different?

Bob Dylan: Reimagined song meanings poetically. Martin Luther King Jr.: Envisioned equality beyond segregation. Richard Branson: Ignored business conventions fearlessly. John

Molly vs the Machines

Monetising misery. A machine for manipulating behaviour. Global architecture of surveillance. Computational governance. -//- Yesterday I watched Molly vs the Machines on Channel 4 catch up. I feel it's a must watch for anyone with children. The phrases above are four of many I wrote down, used
