Guide not Guru
I was surprised when this post came up in my LinkedIn feed.

Guide not guru. That’s me?
It’s taken a long time to get here. I aimed for that 30 years ago when I broke free from corporate.
Asking questions, paying attention, offering a perspective without prescription.
Of course… I still slip into advice giving from time to time. Especially with family members and friends. We’re all human, right?
But along the way I have found a tad more humility and uncertainty - just to balance things up.
Working with strong minded individuals will do that for you. If you stand in a space when you believe you’re smart and have all the answers you’ll learn you’re not and don’t… fast.
I know because I made tgst mistake in the early days.
Ouch!
Thanks for the reminder Dean Moon - again this us a very clever image given my current situation.
