The Weekly Reframe #8
1/ NOTICE
Everywhere - people with their heads bent down, handing over their lives to a wretched phone.
I wrote about this on LinkedIn. Some people took notice and took action. You still have time.

2/ TRY
Why I recommend my clients to write after a workshop
People forget 80% of what's presented in workshops within 24 hours. They participate, feel inspired in the moment, then their brains dump it.
That's because your brain discards insights you don't apply. Start by figuring out where you'll apply the insights, visualise the context, then write it down.
The most effective approach is to carve out 30 minutes immediately after a workshop. Use this time to make a handwritten one-page summary of what you learnt and where you'll apply it.
Write to think. Think to change.

3/ QUESTION
What are you calling strategy that's just complexity?
The extra analysis.
The additional stakeholder.
The perfect timing you're waiting for.
All drag. All slowing you down.
A few examples to stimulate your thinking:
"We need to run one more focus group before we decide."
"Let's loop in the regional heads to get their input first."
"We should wait until Q2 when market conditions stabilise."
"This needs sign-off from at least three more departments."
Write: What complexity are you hiding behind?
