10 questions to ask yourself when evaluating a consulting deal.

1/ Has the client acknowledged your experience and expertise?
2/ How clear is the issue the client wants to resolve and what success looks like?
3/ Have you offered convincing case studies showing similar results?
4/ How will funding for this project be determined?
5/ What compensation seems appropriate for the value your solution delivers?
6/ Have you looked at packaging different options for a proposed solution?
7/ Have you used compelling case studies to make the client feel that choosing you is low risk?
8/ How sure are you of the client's selection criteria and process?
9/ How well do you know the people involved in decision-making?
10/ What have you done to connect deeply with these people and satisfy their agenda?

What have I missed?
