Recently I've been thinking about how I practice self-reflection.

Here's why I think it's important for personal growth and peak performance.

I've been using self-reflection for over 25 years now. It's incredibly powerful. Sometimes the way my perspective changes is certainly transformational.

If you want to know how self-reflection has changed my performance, here are three big shifts:

↳ The habit of pausing before reacting.
🤔 This has allowed me to respond thoughtfully. I do this in both personal and professional contexts.

↳ Keenness to get a deeper understanding of others’ perspectives.
👥 This has led to better creative collaborations.

↳ A shift from a problem to outcome mindset.
🌱 This enables me to see challenges as opportunities for growth.

Self-reflection has helped me achieve new levels of performance, so why should you care about it
