Sales Training vs. Selling.
Two very different realities.

Sitting at a keyboard, trying to craft the perfect message to grab a prospect’s attention. ⌨️
Facing an awkward customer who’s not following the process you were taught. 🤯
Losing a major deal after nine months of effort—now breaking the news to the team. 🧨

Selling as a consultant is a different skill.
And when you’re lost, frustrated, and silently cursing you feel it.
That loneliness, responsibility, pushing through imposter syndrome.

You want to win great clients.
You want to land interesting projects.
You want to sell with integrity.

I’ve been there and earned my scars.
Cried tears of disappointment alone in my car.

And also won more times than I failed.
Exceeded company targets and personal goals.

That’s why I mentor consultants who sell.
because they face the toughest role in the industry.

And I know when high achievers are supported the right way, they don’t just win more - they stay, grow, and build something bigger.

Molly vs the Machines

Monetising misery. A machine for manipulating behaviour. Global architecture of surveillance. Computational governance. -//- Yesterday I watched Molly vs the Machines on Channel 4 catch up. I feel it's a must watch for anyone with children. The phrases above are four of many I wrote down, used
