A few years ago, I worked with a leader who ran circles around everyone.
A few years ago, I worked with a leader who ran circles around everyone.
Sharp. Focused. Always ten steps ahead.
But what stood out most 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 ... 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
They’d walk into a room and somehow make every person feel seen.
Not just for their output, but for who they were.
A quick “thank you” after a rough day.
A handwritten note when someone hit a milestone.
A warm introduction 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗼𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲.
It wasn’t fluff.
It wasn’t weakness.
𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲.
And it worked.
The team? Loyal.
Clients? Receptive.
The results? Undeniable.
Some said kindness would make me soft.
That gratitude would slow me down.
But the truth? It does the opposite.
Gratitude builds trust.
Kindness builds momentum.
And connection? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀.
We live in a world obsessed with doing more, faster.
But the smartest performers I know?
They win by going deeper ... not just harder.
If you're chasing results, try this:
Send one unexpected thank-you today.
One message that says, “I see you.”
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻.
Kindness isn’t soft.
It’s strategy.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 ...
... 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲.
