You can easily 10X the value of reading business books.

This idea may be useful for you.
It’s exactly what I do nowadays.
Whenever I study a business book.

Study is the operative word. Not read. Study.

I study for action.
Not just for learning.

Scanning for Directives.

That’s what I write down whenever I see a 'do this', or my mind makes a connection. A Directive.

I take time to write these out as orders for my brain.
And it gives me a succinct, written, action-based reminder too.

For each Directive I craft questions for reflection.
Effectively turning each book into a mini-workshop.

This reflection part is super important.
I can’t stress that enough.
It’s what makes you do the critical thinking ...not blindly follow.

Like all good ideas … this one is stolen … so credit where credit is due. I read about it in Derek Sivers blog.

Bob Dylan: Reimagined song meanings poetically. Martin Luther King Jr.: Envisioned equality beyond segregation. Richard Branson: Ignored business conventions fearlessly. John

Molly vs the Machines

Monetising misery. A machine for manipulating behaviour. Global architecture of surveillance. Computational governance. -//- Yesterday I watched Molly vs the Machines on Channel 4 catch up. I feel it's a must watch for anyone with children. The phrases above are four of many I wrote down, used
